get vengeance essential house, or houseworx, then listen to every song in the house top 10...i can guarantee you will see at least 1 loop in each song :P

That part is incorrect. Drums aren't necessarily supposed to sound mechanical - in some cases that's what you want but in most cases you'll really want them to sound more natural.
