Depends how old the track is.

House has changed a lot in recent years - it never used to have the same disco/funk/soul influence that it does now, it was much more minimal.

Prog house used to be similar to modern trance. There's a compilation called An Introspective of House released 6 years ago that's full of classic examples - it's damn good.

I don't see how you could really fit progressive elements into modern house since the modern house structure is so rigid (taken from disco) so I'd be interested to hear what this track you're talking about sounds like.

don't forget dark trance.. though one could argue that it's just hard trance... Incidently does anyone have any morning trance floating around their computer... I've been told that it existed... as early morning music at parties .. in the early and mid 90's ... I suppose it must exist as i'm in the process of making a morning trance track right now... basically weird psychedellic noises... but with eurphoric .. light .. not overbarring melodies... but... does anyone else .. have any good examples of this form of music...

I've also heard the term cybertrance used. Is that the same as psy-trance?
