ya i listen to this mix all the time its so dreamy i just wish the whole set was mixed oh well

i dont really know of others that do great Chillout Mixes like Chicane... I think its the Track selection that really makes it what it is...

as far as quality chill music... ummm... I have OM Lounge vol 2 and 3.... which are wonderful chill... not really much other that I like... most "chillout" albums come with 2 tracks i like and the rest of the disc sucks.

if you notice... Chicane's sets are hard find a style for... I mean they are chill, duh... but classifying the genres of each tune... you find songs that are:

new age (Kama Sutra - Sugar steps ),
trance (Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)),
(Moonman - Galaxia (Solar Stone Remix)),
house (Roger Sanchez - Another Chance (Afterlife Remix) ),
r&b (zero 7 - Distractions),
techno (Aphex Twin - Window Licker),
and true chillout (Mr. Joshua Presents Espiritu - In Praise of the Sun (Chilled Brasilia Mix)).....

Also for relaxing chill I started listening to GrooveSalad Station for WinAmp shoutcast... www.somafm.com ... if you have a fast connection to listen to the 128k stream... its definately worth it!

anyone else have comments... i would love to hear them..

are you guys sure this isnt the same EXACT set as the mos session from last year?? all the songs are the same and in same order...just wouldnt make sense to do the same set over...I think its misnamed...



btw for great chillout album: solar stone chilled euphoria. I think Enigma is the greatest music on earth to chill out to..songs like endless quest and smell of desire are so fucking amazing...

people have told me this also... so I believe that they just replayed and said "GALAXY MIXMISTERS 105 & 106!!!!" over it 100 times... i hate that voice!!! but anyway I dont have the MOS set... and I cant get it on AG... so as far as I am concerned... this is a great set.... no real skill in mixing shown here... but the song selection is wonderful... takes you on a nice journey =)
