don't download IE 7 off of yahoo... thats where I first saw it today...
so I've managed to avoid all the crappy toolbars over the years...yahoo, google... everything...
of course... I download it off yahoo... and it comes with yahoo toolbar... so I'm gonna have to uninstall and download it over at microsoft or something...
other than that... its kind of a pain in the ass... except the tabbed windows thing....
i'm not a firefox or mozilla user though...

Personally I would stray away from any Internet Explorer browser altogether.
The fact that Internet Explorer is embedded directly into the Kernal of the OS is enough for me to cringe at the thought of using it. Also, with it just being released, I'm sure there are quite a few bugs that need to be worked out before it can be truely noted as 'safe'.
Atleast if you were to get a virus with Firefox, Opera or any other 3rd party browser, you have the ability to contain/quarantine it before it completely renders your OS innoperable.
ActiveX Virii is the most common kind of internet Virii and since IE is really the only Web browser that uses ActiveX it's the most susceptible to Virus's.
Stick with Firefox and have a safer browsing experience.
