i agree on that. but if you look @ tiesto's track-selestions of all his sets, he always used to play some stuff that was 'out of genre', or simply; not the 'usual' trance you expect from him, or the 'usual' trance he always plas/played. in the early days of tiesto (around 2000), the whole trance genre wasnt exploited that much as its now. the choices he could make then werent as much/big as nowadays. and what he played was 'new'. but he always used to play 'out-of-genre'-stuff. its just that since a couple of years, the choices he could make for that 'out-of-genre'-stuff were bigger. therefore, it might seem that he changed his style, a bit. nevertheless, i cant deny that tiesto is still the same as he was 6/7 yrs ago. things changed of course. but he was, and still is, a DJ that plays EDM in an era where there's still more n more attention for what is played, and this is an 'era' in which the whole EDM becomes (for a small bit) the backbone of modern pop-music. in the 70's, it was disco. in the 80's, you had rock. in the 90's, there was dance .. and thats growing more n more nowadays
thats just my opinion on all of tiesto's track-slection/playlists. its my vision. if you dont agree, plz feel free to critisize my opinion. (but dont flame me ) ... its kinda late now, so i need to go to bed ( ), but if neceassry, ill try explain my view on this more/better ... and the translation from my opinion in dutch (my native language) and sometimes hard to translate to english. and i have issues with putting my feelings/ideas to words
oh yeah, by the way, some discussion is always good. but let us not make a so many-th tiesto-shit-or-not thread about this

House was ooit house. Waar ongelovigen toch predikten “God made me funky, and I’m glad He blessed me this way”. |
