PS: Dj Dan is a techno dj i hear him at a party here at bogota and he wasnt that bad, but not a TOP 5 DJMAG TOP 100 thats for sure
"DJ Dan born Daniel Wherret is a professional recording artist on the Moonshine record label.
Dan grew up in Olympia, Washington. He began hearing electronic dance music at clubs in Seattle and Tacoma where Donald Glaude was playing. Donald taught him the basics of turntablism before Dan went away to study fashion at FIDM in Los Angeles. At the time the nascent rave culture was emerging in Los Angeles. Dan played a few events with Ron D Core and soon became a sought after DJ.
Dan and Ron released a series of DIY tapes under the name DX2 and hosted the legendary after-hours club, NO-DOZ.
Dan was half of the Electroliners releasing several club hits, like "Loose Kaboose".
Dan is now a DJ in worldwide demand, a record producer and recording artist.

Armin is the best DJ in the World Technically and Musically, it's really a shame that he can't get Recognition from crowd. Tiesto was a lot less good than him and he was at the top for 3 year in a row as everybody know. I just think this top is not representative of what clubbers like, only normal people affecter by marketing vote for DJ they just know without objective judging of who are the best! The real top is the TA Top 250
"A dj set is more than just playing hit after hit. Dance means being hypnotized and being drawn in by the music. Perhaps nowadays that takes more effort. In the sixties and seventies we didn't have mobile phones and there was much stress.
There was probably more room to be open for new music. I'd like to challenge the crowd nevertheless.
With Armin Only I'd like to show that people are open for new and good music."

Actually, Dan got the best House DJ award, Carl Cox, best Techno DJ. I cant remember who got the best Progressive DJ award but I also remember Andi C and Flash Brothers got awards.
