The nuo 4 has MIDI

how many knobs can you assing to MIDI functions?

I have a 92 and the Nuo5 doesn't even compare. It's a good mixer, but the "feel" of the 92 is why it's leagues above the nuo imo.

I disagree.

I played on both and bought the NUO5.

Most underrated mixer on the market in my opinion.
Its only "con" is the 2 nonassignable channels.

Then again, you should try em out and see how you personally react.

In response to the MIDI on the Nuo4:
The total number of assignable may be a high number, but the the MIDI 'channel' only has 4 buttons and 4 knobs. There is a 3-position switch that allows changing between three different layouts, but I've found (in my limited use of the MIDI) that it's a bit limiting as to how many controls you can use simultaneously.

Nonetheless, I'd recommend trying out both mixers first in person, then deciding which one you like better.
