Thats so funny. When I first started going to parties, it was a novelty to see all these great DJs, once a year, maybe a couple, and maybe even 3 times! But now, after years of clubbing, and the same DJs showing up, I really would like some new talent as well. There is nothing wrong with the talent that is coming in, except that they are hindering new DJs from making the trip.
If the demand is only there for the top 10, then thats all we will get. The added problem is, the demand for the top 10 will only rise within the new few years. With trance/house becoming more popular, the new blood looks to established lists like the DJmag poll to try and see who they may like. With more and more people referring to the poll as a source of info/guide to good DJs, our stream of DJs may further stagnate.
