Big room, decent sound system, extremely dirty and slippery floors...pretty much a warehouse. They got one really awesome green lazer that reflects off of their little disco ball. Oh, and it's REALLY hot in there. Absolutely no sign of air conditioning...so I suggest staying near the back until the place clears out a bit.

despite the flaws, I'd rather be there than Guv, TIL or most clubs. The atmosphere is unbelievable. Underground warehouse parties FTW

Glad you guys had fun, I got a txt from Bill saying it was wicked. I couldn't make it out, was too dead from the night before. See whoever is hitting up the Docks tonight.

Awesome night!! From about 3:30-5 Adam Beyer was destroying me. The DJ who opened for him (Jamie Kidd) was also very good. Was impressed.

99 Sudbury - my first time there and I thought it was really, really ghetto. But I liked it. It was sooooooo different from the usual clubbing venues. Would definitely go back.

The vibe was amazing. Smiles everywhere. Everyone was there to party it up.

The party reminded me of some old school gigs.

Nice to meet clublifexxx for the millionth time.

you got that right! i'm so glad i decided to come out to this last minute as usual. finding parking around there is a real bitch so try the green p on queen or cab it. my first time there so i didn't know what to expect. i wasn't sure if i was at the right place so i had to stand a while and watch where ppl where going... lol.

the place definitely has a warehouse feel to it. haven't been to one in ages so this was a refreshing change. the crowd was really nice... smiles all around. sound system was alright with a loud bassline perfect for a techno party. jamie kidd had a great opening set... really liked the tunes near the end of his set. then adam beyer came on blew the roof off and probably my ear-drums too. around 4 he was dishing out older and familiar tunes that had me going nuts for a while. by 5 i had run out of steam and was ready to head home.

i had a very good time. good ppl and good techno tuuunes. a combination i hadn't experienced for quite some time. good to see rubyriva all the way from pittsburgh... you're a trooper! nat.. thank you sooo much for the earplugs. you saved my night! my poor ears couldn't take much more of that relentless pounding base and i was contemplating heading home. it was great partying with the true techno addicts... you know who you are! until next time... shut... up... and... dance. w00t w00t!

I know it was a long time ago, but how did it compare with his set at System in 2003 (style, and how good it was)?

It was still rolling, percussive techno, as was the set in 03. Perhaps the bpm were a little lower...but at one point I remember looking at my friends and we were all shaking our heads in wonder about how unexpectedly hard it was.

He played some great older tunes...in particular he played "Rippin and Dippin Pt 2" which is one of my favorite Beyer tracks of all time (done as Mr Sliff)

Lots of material from some of the recent sets I've been listening to, but tons of shit from god knows where.

I want to go back to last night so bad! I dont think another party will happen like this one for quite some time.
