Thx for support, friends.

Vascotia, on the regulations of the author's right. Not only a contract with label could confirm the rights of the author. There are some another things to make it. And I have them. Try to do something, because such things "kill" a lot of very talent begginer artists...

So I guess you have to try to get your track signed...

Cquence, of course it's coincidence, what a friend of Leon can say in such a situation. If he wrotes this breakdown 3 years ago, let us prove that!

I should say that imo the melody almost the same, only a bit changed, maybe a coincidence? I don know but I won't wager for this option.

This is my opinion, but we should listen the two sides of this history..

i would say originally it might be sound simillar but its still different no matter what u say...Different Sound , Different octave , everything. Scooter ripped off Push - Strange World...and? nothing.

not to mention there are 100000000000 trance tunes that sound simillar and some completely identical...i dont think u can do anything about it since there's always way to win here , u dont have any copyrights for this melody beacuse u havnt signed it im afraid...and even if u do leon can change a small note in the melody and it will turn into his own melody just beacuse of a 1 single note...

But hey.. even if a track isn't signed, it can still be copyrighted?
However, you must have actual proof of that YOU made it. Date as well, so that it can be verified that your production actually was made BEFORE the suspected reproduction.

Soundclick has made this possible by giving the artist an option of not letting anyone download the track, and only stream it. It also shows the date when the track is added - and therefore proof of when it's added ( promoted ).. Some also send the track on a cd-r to themself ( via normal mail ) and then don't break the sealing. That's also a way of proving the date when the track \ melody came to the world.
