First of all: you won't believe how many times I've heard the story of people's X360 dying on them. I'm also a forum participant over @ Neogaf.com and there was a huge thread about X360's dying.


Secondly: lol, have you even followed the news about the PS3? Thanks to the Sony fanboys, the controller has been 'redesigned', which means it won't look like that boomerang after all. Heck, the new controller is even gyroscopic now and the 4 action buttons seem to have LED's in them now. Also, very much like the X360's controller, the controller is wireless. The new controller looks actually like the DualShock2, the only things that have changed on the outside are a new button in the middle and the L2 and R2 buttons function more 'triggerish' now.

good but i still think the console itself is hideous. but then again that doesnt mean its terrible itself. im sure its gonna be a beast. i would buy it but id rather spend 500$ or whatever it is now on the latest and meanest PC graphics card/ upgrade for an uber pc gaming machine.
