What do you mean by multi-touch? Is dragging your finger on a slider really the same as using a physical slider? I like my knobs

OSC definately is the future.

Multitouch means there can be like a whole lot of fingers on it at the same time. We had 30 on at one point and it tracked all 30.

Most old school touch screen technology was limited to 1 touch point.

I really thing this is the future as it is ANY interface you want and is infinetely customizeable. you can also link a whole lot of them together.

That is true, and you can label things on the screen and such. Everyone gets a truly custom controller...

Perhaps a combination of something like that along with some physical controls, and an integrated soundcard. THAT would be amazingly cool.
