FTP is where it's at

i get sent tracks and promos, i rarely do much shopping

it's more weeding out than shopping

otherwise i like to take a stroll down to my local record store and spend an afternoon digging

then there's the usual digital download suspects

just keep checking new releases and upcoming releases, it might sound lame but i've always thought you don't find music, music finds you...

now where did i put that joint?

a weekly visit to the vinyl shop once in a while is good. the guys will pull me whitelabels and test presses cuz most of the big stuff they know i get online. I always browse the new releases on beatport. and SETS!!!! lots and lots of sets. I download everything i can from other DJs that i like. i listen to what they are playing and i'll usually find good tracks that way.

I get sent a fair amount but 95% of it's shit, so I still go scouting around record shops as much as always... tends to just be online now, but with every new release I could possibly be interested in from 4 different sites emailed to me every day and checking the new releases in various genres on about 5 other sites, there's A LOT of music there!! It's just hard finding time to plough through it all.

I'd like to think that I find music (rather that the other way round), otherwise I'm wasting about 5 or 6 hours a week!

Download sets from reputable DJ's. Let them do the work for me. Find track lists. Finding the track is the harest part.
