! in what respect?! they are the lords for the price you pay, maybe they used to be shit, but I know someone with an Audiophile 2096 and a Delta 66, and they are both awesome pieces of kit. I use traktor and 0ms to both my outputs with one card (delta44) is impressive.

And I been away, or I would have posted some links to some firewire cards, let me find them again (formatted PC) and i'll put them up for you mer.

I'm not saying they are shit at all... Just that they are (or were) based on CMedia chips... which are fairly inexpensive but they are good chips.

Either way I also have not heard a bad thing at all about the maudio series of soundboards... only good things. but they are fairly pricey ...

pricey is an understatement! I could get a nice upgrade on my comp for the same price!

no joke man, they cost more than my last upgrade!

I just use two cmedia 8738 boards for digital mixing... total cost: $25. My only complaint is they dont have balanced outputs but they do sound good.
