It's almost the same as a child being disappointed, they don't have a fever at the school Nurse's Office, so they can go home early.

It's because they want something to be wrong with them so they can be different and tell a story. So people will feel sorry for them and pay more attention. Even i get that way....

Azia where do you work so i can break my leg?

That's exactly what it is. And honestly, people are being over-radiated. You bump your head, GET A CATSCAN. You stub your toe, QUICK!! XRAY IT. I think the whole medical field has gotten lazy because of new technology. Ok, that's fine, makes our work easier....but think of the unnessecary radiaton exposure we are giving people, and FORGET about the wasted money.

I got blood exams on a regular basis and these fuckin' nurses have fucked up my veins and I'm only 24!

Can't even draw blood from my left arm anymore .... boy will I be freaking pissed off the day I have to go back on dialysis and they'll need to use my right arm ( I'm right armed so that's the problem ) instead of my left ...

fudgeeeeeeeeeee

I always get into arguments over stuff with nurses cause they are so lame and don't try to understand my point of view ....

And your point of view is........

go back to Needle Insertion class?

Drawing blood out of your right arm shouldn't affect you too much, if anything that will be much better if you have good veins in that arm instead of messing with your poor left arm again.

My point of view is biatches don't seem to understand that I must preserve my veins and keep them in good shape or else when I go back on dialysis I'll be fudged!

The most important thing is that the veins in my left arm need to be kept in good shape for a fistula one day.

They are so lazy they want the easiest veins for needle insertion ....

blah sorry I hate nurses. Some of them are kick ass and I love them but others are so annoying.

Good thing I'm not a nurse
I agree though, I find many workers in the medical field have become lazy, and it is the patient who suffers.

EDIT:
To answer the question at hand, I would be very relieved if I didn't have a broken bone or something wrong with me, there has been quite a few times that I wish I didn't have to deal with pain! But, unfortunatly people have too deal with it.

I suppose some people are just looking forward to the pain killers, ect that they would get if they were hurt. . . .

Also maybe they are looking forward to using sick day and geting off work!
