I think i know why it is being relased in Japan first, as well as the new Rank 1 album.
First of all Ferry Corsten is totally huge out here, they are all familliar with his music and i can tell they really like it. you wouldnt believe how many times ive heard the "Dance Valley 200i theme" from ferry corsten in the clubs out here, as well as "out of the blue". although i havnt heard "out of the blue 2002" being played yet...
Another reason is ferry corsten has released multiple albums out here under the Japanese Label, "Avex Trax", check out TranceDome and TranceMatch for instance. Not even too mention all the remixes of Ayumi Hamasaki songs that Ferry Corsten has done.
Also with this huge CyberTrance Event going on in Mainland Japan on April, 13th, which is why i think Rank 1 came out with their album over here first since their going to be a part of this event. CyberTrance is huge out here right now I think everyone should buy or burn a "Best of CyberTrance" CD so they can get a taste of it since they cant be out here to enjoy it. havnt heard about anymore new releases out here in Japan that are going to be really huge except some Yoji Bimehanika, and Lab-4. i think it will die down a little after this CyberTrance Event... but i hope not.
