i was in italy for a month and a half and got scouted out by a club team of the city i was playin in, montebelluna. theyre like a series D which is no where close to series A but it was cool that i was noticed just by kicking the ball around on the field. anyways i ended up practicing with them for 2 practices for fun until their insurance said i couldnt, in case someone got injured by me, they would not cover them.


but for me that was like WOW i was calling my fam in canada bragging how i was practicing with this small club team

a guy around me plays on this small rep team and for the last year he went around telling everyone he was playing for this team
long story short
he got conned into going to south america for some soccer thing which cost him a few grand and didnt turn up what he expected to get (publicity/scouts)
it was satisfying seeing a mouthy kid gettin put in place

i know exactly what ur talkin abt. alot of people talk alot of crap when it comes to sports. but in no way do i even think im going to make it but i figure its a win win situation for me. if i go and try out, and i dont make it, i lost nothing and i got to finally size myself up against canada's pros (which is sorta a dream for me in itself) and if i do make it, its wow
