I have a dell dj 20 gig mp3 player. It is about 2 years old now and like nyce, it has to be recharged about every 3-4 days. Importing is a breeze. Drag and drop and its in.

Sadly I think they are discontinued now. Dell only supports their flash memory mp3 players.

An iPod does act like another drive, you don't have to convert anything. iTunes is just a music player/cd burning software that interfaces with your iPod. A great cost effective solution to ipod. I have the e250, and payed $120, which isn't too bad. Plus you can watch videos, and share photos on it. The miniSD slot is also pretty usefull. Definately give this one some serious consideration. The sound quality isn't that bad either. My sister has a PMP, and that thing bumps, the output quality is leaps and bounds better than the other mp3 players i've listened to.


p.s. Zune will fail.

IRiver is pretty damn good. My gf has the 40 gig version and I recently got the e10. No complaints

ive used it though. the display is nice and big, and VERY clear and bright. great interface and graphics. im a visual person so it's right up my alley.
