huh? what do you mean? The ECLER has a CUE button per channel, and a CUE/MIX knob, so you can hear both your CUE'd tracks AND your MIX output at the same time.

see? on top of the headphone volume? it says PFL/MIX

Ok, I see now. I'm just not used to the PFL label. (what does that mean?) Well, I guess it's now between these two. I plan on having this mixer for a long time and using it as my main mixer. It just seems like the A & H has more functions to play with considering the slide filter controls and such. Am I missing something?

Also, will I be able to plug the A&H output into an RCA in on my reciever?

Thanks for you guys' help.

Pre fade listen. Just another way of saying cue.

Yup...Pre Fade Listen.

You can use the XONE:32 on your receiver, it has RCA outs for the REC output. Ugh...I just noticed that the switch for PHONO/LINE is on the back of the XONE:32..never noticed that before

The NUO3 has an AUX2 RCA output, with its own balance and volume control, as well as a seperate REC RCA output (and XLR, if you need to hook it up to a bigger system).

Both are excellent mixers...with the NUO3 offering a bit more in functionality (full EQ kills, adjustable curves on all faders, if you want to scratch, better external FX loop and overall better layout), while the XONE has those sweet filters. Both of them will give you pretty much the same sound and build quality.

Just looked at one at a dj supply store close to home (the xone 32). Man, what a nice mixer. $1600!!! I almost fainted. But you know what, I will have that mixer soon. I could hardly keep my hands off it. Gotta love the 2 seperate eqs for the lows. What, one is for the bass line, and the other is for the kick??

you must be talking about the XONE:62 or XONE:92, because the 32 isnt $1600. And only the 62/92 have the two MID EQ knobs.

It goes like this:

1 TREBLE

1 MID-HIGH

1 MID-LOW

1 LOW (BASS)

I personally find it a bit akward having 2 MID EQ's...as I wouldnt know which one to use! Some people like it tho...but it can be a bit confusing.

So I guess I could get Y adapters for the RCA out and send one to the recorder and the other to the reciever. By the way, it must not be the xone 32 because I'll get if for around $600.

One thing i don't like about the eclers is that they hold most of their volume in the mid EQ, but everything else is nice about them.

You can get jack - RCA leads so you can use the master out - no need to mess about with splitting the record output and all that lark.

I think it was the 92. So, those are 2 seperate mid eqs, huh. Is one more focused on the kick? If thats the case I think it would come in handy.

well, I think the kick would be more bassy, and would fall into the LOW EQ.

The MID HIGH/MID LOW is just like the MID on a normal mixer, just split into two. So I guess the MID-LOW would dip into the kick a bit...but then you'd have to turn the LOW and MID LOW at the same time.
