as well as when pvd does central park
here in nyc the dance scene is dieing the only radio station (103.5 ktu) which plays some kind of dance recently reformated its whole line up and they dont play no more dj mixes late nights on the weekends or they dont even talk about clubs or house music no more
so i dunno if madison square garden would be filled to the brim
such a shame tho
one of the places house music was invented and we dont have nothing
Ya I agree. Compared to other cities they still have a lot of good events and get all the big name DJ's out there but it has definitely dwindled. I attended PvD's Summer Stage in Central Park this year and thought it would be rammed but I estimate there was probably only 300 people (but he did play 2 shows back to back). Tiesto also passed by this summer (forgot the venue) but he didn't sell out (in other cities where I've seen him play he sells out rather quickly).

Tiesto doesn't sell out in NYC??? He absolutely does sell out, his crowd is part of the reason crobar shut down a few weeks ago. If tiesto didn't sell out it was because he played a set on saturday and then again on sunday. I believe those sets were played at Crobar.
