Above all: They lack Jack Bauer.

I love, not just love.. I am obsessed with these shows. NO, they arn't real, and the fabricate alot of the shit, but goddamn I love them.

L&O and I are bestfriends, and CSI and I are family ( Minus NY ).

I was always fascinated by these shows and the though behind them. It will be the closest I ever get to seeing something like this. I'd actually love to go see a real lab and watch how the REAL lab is run.

I own the seasons of CSI, BEST INVESTMENT is right!!!

I am done.

agree here, I don't like the new york csi, i think law & order is better for NY. Vegas & Miami allow interesting plots though for the csi shows.

As for "real labs" my brother's just got a job in ontario in a company doing the same thing as csi, but for biological engineering or something along those lines. Using the same sort of machinery, but for the government not to solve crimes

love criminal intent too. it's very good if a bit clever for some people in my experience

yeah, he's looking forward to it, told him he's not as cool as greg in the lab though the non-cool news is he's home getting his work visa (damn regulations ) so I have to put up with him again

Ahahaa!

CSI is always on in my household. We're all fans, but no one is as bug as a fan as me. A&E and SPIKE TV have it on everyday/night. So I get my daily dose, and when I don't ...well..it hasn't happened yet.

i dont understand why a show supposedly dedicated to crime scene investigation thinks its ok to put these CSU officers into the (say) interrogation room to interview suspects. that never happens, and thats enough for me to hate the show. and i also dont understand why this doesnt piss anyone else off.

just because it's fabricated doesn't mean it has to be shit or unnecessarily unrealistic.

we get tons of it here. LivingTV has episodes every weeknight, sometimes 2 or 3 episodes. Hallmark channel shows the law & order, as does channel 5, which also shows all 3 csi's and they've just begun "five US" which shows an episode of each most nights.

No it doesn't have to be garbage, but that's your opinion.

Maybe I'm stupid enough to like it, but I alteast know it's not real and the work is harder and takes longer to do than they actually show.

thats necessary unrealism. not what im criticising. im criticising its methods of the all-in-one police officer that does everything. christ, im surprised he's not a bloody barrister as well. oh, and also the fact that they always get their man. lame.

Nope not always. There was an episode where they had him, but it turned out that they didn't have the proper evidence to put him away, so they let him go.

I understand your view on the show, and ya I know what you're talking about. I watch the show very attentivly (sp) so what you say is true. I just like it because of the suspence, and drama, although it is predictable.

FFs, I don't care, I love it.
