actually i agree with great outdoors as well about having those rare hard to get vinyls. it does suck when you paid a good amount of money PLUS spending a shitload of time to find the record and then you have this twat who just downloads the mp3 and they can play it too. thats life, i guess.

But back on to the topic, Final Scratch is a sweet idea. But the whole idea about DJing - like what others have said - is about finding that rare vinyl which not many others have. It would ruin vinyl sales, therefore the labels would make shit all therefore there would be no where near as much music being released! Think about it

I agree absolutely. That's why for this reason alone, I believe Final Scratch will not take over traditional vinyls. DJ-ing as an art has existed way before digital music came into existence and it has survived till today; I see no need for any changes.
