I was really surprised to see him go off like that. Disappointing that he reacted like that whether he was provoked or not. Heckling is something that all stand up comics have to deal with and most handle it well with a well timed comeback but that, that was not cool.

It raises the point.. the hecklers were able to call him a white mother******, but as soon as he turns around and spouts racial slurs its offensive.. i think both parties are fucked in the head.
No disagreements with that Begic, the heckler was a tosser. The other is a professional and well known around the world. People take note of what celebrities say and do. If the heckler yells racist remarks and you respond with racist remarks as a rebuttal then you would be seen as equally racist. Given his status, he gets nailed with this over an unknown. Richards obviously lost the plot, to bad he was on TV.

I don't think it's his use of the word "nigger" that made it so offensive, but the fact he made a joke about hanging the guy from a tree. A white, American comedian making a joke about lynchings is about as funny and tasteful as a German comedian making a joke about the holocaust.
