Aww, shucks. You're so far away. Then again, I don't have a DJM800.

Suggest using the digital input/outputs, though. I also recommend reading the manual; it should give you a (perhaps more technical) idea on all of the filters/effects, which will allow you to create your own style of using them creatively.

Have fun with it, really.

Beatmatching is a thing of the past with this setup. the pitch slider is very accurate and easy to increment on the cdj1000mk3 and the headphone cuing is a dream with the djm800. you can actually here what the floor is hearing through the headphones. this is one instance where the equipment improves your perceived skill level.
