I was never hung over myself man...I got hammered only one time...
It kinda disappointed me because I went with all intentions to get hammered and have a fun time. I guess I am just too old now...I can't handle the booze anymore...my stomach killed me everytime I tried to drink up, plus I had that gastrointestinal distress problem to deal with...I wasn't sure if Vodka & Sprite mixed well with Immodium...hahaha
reminds me of NYE...on the topic tho-
thats kinda how my spring break went. traveling to europe i figured i would be drunk a large percentage of the time...but it didnt really happen. then again i went to the utah of europe as far as access to liquor goes. its a bitch to purchase a 1/5th in sweden - unlike mexico. late/

I just came back from Cancun. La Boom and Daddy O were the best places to be for a tranceaddict! Both of them played very good trance music. And the best thing is that Paul Van Dyk is gonna be spinning in La Boom on the 26th. I saw him on the 19th there. Others might disagree with me on this but he played the best pvd live set I've ever heard!! It was hard and bangin' for 3-3.5 hours. I just couldn't leave. I was tired as hell, but I just couldn't stop dancing.
Coco Bongo is supposed to be the hottest place, but it sucked big time. They played all kinda music but mainly rock and '80s. And it was unbelievably packed. We left after half an hour.
Do not go even near the new club, Life. There's no one in there even if there's no cover.
Pat O'Brian might be good if they have a special DJ spinning. Johnny Viscous was there on Wednesday. He played a pretty good set.
Jonathan Peters might be spinning in La Boom too this week. He was there 2-3 nights past week.
One last advice: do not buy the VIP wristband. It's $160 and your night schedule will be set for you. Of course you can go somewhere else instead of going to the predetermined place, but if you do that then why the hell did you buy the wristband? Most of the places have open bars for $25 anyway. Daddy O has the option of paying $5 for cover and no open bar if you are not a heavy drinker.

I just got back from Cancun. The three best clubs are Daddy-O's, Coco Bongo, and La Boom.
Coco Bongo is definitely the craziest. When you walk out on the dancefloor it's totally nuts. There are people stacked to the ceiling! It's like dancing in a small stadium. The most memorable moment was when they played Safri Duo - The Clubber. They brought out live Bongos and everything. Later in the night they started playing crap like Livin La Vida Loca. That's your cue to go get another drink.
Jonathan Peters was at La Boom the night I went. I had no idea Paul Van Dyk was there on Tuesday while I was in Cancun. I saw the sign for it on Thursday and about had a heart attack!!
I suggest going to them all. Bulldog isn't a bad club either.

You have to be kidding me...I knew La Boom was trance friendly but they had PVD there?
