In Grade 4 I taught (as I like to say) my friend Paul Bauer how to do that (really he just discovered he could do it as well after trying after seeing me do it).

Only he did at A LOT (a lot a lot... the jumping rope more extreme contortionistic kinda stuff) and now its painful for him to do anything hyper-natural with his shoulders.

I dont ever want that to become the case with me, as currently when I do the things that you see in the photos it's actually fucking pleasurable.

I do that stuff (usually when lying down and sleeping) because it fucking feels incredibly great. Its an amazing feeling. After parties it's almost impossible for me to fight the urge to 'stretch' as such because I can feel the tension in my shoulders that's built from an entire night out dancing and moving and I just get antsy until I stretch that tension out. It just feels so fucking great to do.

I kid you not.

Isn't double jointed just a term, i think it's called hypermobile? not sure though, I am hyper mobile in my left hip, can do the splits anytime, and I have "double jointed" knunkles that when I crack them slightly and quickly it sounds like a heartbeat
