those tracks of which were mixed on my 2 babies, my PDX 2300's, doubled with my Kaoss Pad in combination with the built in fx panel on my mixer, American Audio QFX 19...may explain the tripped out/funked out sound of a filter doubled with some sort of echo...

Overall a good set, some tracks i really liked but some i didnt. The beginning is the best imo, but for some reason i felt the originality was lost as the set came to an end.
The mixing overall is good, and so is the flow.
Good job.

A good mix man, I'd say that the best part is the middle especially Seal Clubbing which I didn't like too much but it really fits nicely in this set and I actually have a new appreciation for it now so thanks for that
The Club is an awesome club-banger but it's those goddamn vocals that annoy me so much aaaaaahh fucking shit if it wasn't for those outddated vocals the track would be perfect, it's still sick tho, i love it.
Aquaviva's style isn't the greatest in my opinion by it's Oliver Koletzki's touch that makes this track probably my favorite from the whole bunch. It's fucking sick and dirty, i love it.
What Marco V is doing in this set I have no idea. His track feels odd and it disrupts the mood of the set.
The mixing and flow is very good, some odd track choices, some very very good ones. Very interesting and trippy beginning and an excellent build up to the very pumping and meaty middle ( 6 - 7 - 8 ) and then it slowly loses the originality like Wisnia says with some odd choices. Keep at it tho, I'm curious to hear more.
Oh and id also like to say that it's never good to praise your own mix.

I have to disgaree with you man, When I see a thread title with something like that, I'm at least going to check it out. Sure a lot of DJs think they are king shit when they really aren't, but in a lot of cases I like it when a DJ has confidence in what he spins and can throw together a demo and tell anyone it's sick and that he fuckin loves it. Shit I say the same sort of thing in different words in regards to my mixes. The last thing I want is a DJ to be like "Yo check out my fuckall mix, it isn't really good and doesn't stand out, but check it out anyways". Fuck that, if you aren't sure that what you are droppin is dope, then don't be a DJ.
I agree this set isn't absolutely perfect and there are a couple issues throughout, but to anyone not as familiar with this sort of music and all of its intricacies - this set is hands down, sick.
Good work nick!

He shouldn't bash his own mix either
I mean it should be a given that he likes it because he posted it for others to hear and it's his music and song selection so OF COURSE he's going to like it, but there's no need in making the thread title 'sick new mix' coz I honestly thought he was sharing someone elses mix and when I saw that it was his own my first thought was not a very good one. Objectivity is key when you want feedback from strangers.
Oh and after reading some one-line comments saying how really sick the mix was I thought it was going to be excellent but the hype was too much and when it's started by the DJ himself that's not good...just my two cents.

yo MT you do have a pretty good point about the logistics to calling it a sick set...BUT you gotta admit bro, it grabbed some attention right? (that was half of the reason for the thread title...ill think of some new attention grabbing methods tho) i'm really appreciating the reviews too guys... im pretty curious i want some more feedback on these odd track selections... imo i felt that DESPITE the name, the marco v track wasnt a bad way of switching up the mood? i was basically trying to portray my overall spinning style through a one hour set, so when i started pulling tracks aside i knew it wasnt going to be too easy, but still gave it a shot...
and btw, you dont like those corny ass vocals in the club? that was half the reason i grabbed the record bro! lol

Ill get back to you in more detail but ill just quickly say this:
I got tired of those corny club vocals very fast To me it's the equivalent of Rappers still saying 'Put your hands up in the air' in lyrics
Marco V changed the mood from Techy-House, kind of out of nowhere coz his sound, whether its hard or techy, is still trance
Definately comendable for you to do it and show everyone your range of style but on a personal level I value flow/mood over range
