i too start work at 3pm in the afternoon. If I go out to Party then I will go to bed - sleep til 2pm and then be at work for 3pm!
I stayed up once, I felt like shit and I will never EVER do that again! it's so hard to work til 11pm and work, without sleep!

If one misses work because of partying - then (IMO) one needs to seriously evaluate their party lifestyle.

Have fun, rock it out, party hard -- but don't make choices that consistently negatively impact other aspects of life.

There is life beyond partying.

You hit the nail on the head RJ. When partying affects your ability to meet your obligations and complete your responsibilities in life then you need to re-evaluate either how you party or how much you party.

I know many people who have not figured this out yet and eventually it catches up with you.

Personally, if I know there is a party I want to go to on say a Thursday then I am going to take friday off work. If I can't get friday off work then no party for me...it sometimes sucks but that's part of being a responsible adult....damn A word again

Yup, totally agree with RJ.

Partying is my reward now. I don't go out unless I have ALL my homework/assignments done a WEEK in advance. It's actually been really good for my grades!

Same here. When I was 17, I used to party all night, then work a 9 hour shift on my feet, on a concrete floor all day right afterward. I did this every couple of weeks for a whole summer. Either sober or just drinking too! I don't know how I did it.

I can't think of any single party that I would go to work right afterward. I'll just wait for the next one. Nothing is worth the pain the next day.
