John Digweed
His focus on incredibly smooth, seamless transitions. His layering, and his perfect builds and flows.

James Zabiela
Not big on his recent tracklists, but his spot-on technical abilities and innovativeness are incredible.

Donald Glaude
Mixing, tunes, build and most importantly, an insane amount of energy. Plus he's a local boy.

Flave
Local Breaks and House DJ. Excellent track selection, but most notably an incredible amount of skill when it comes to incorporating turntablism into his sets.

Zabiela would be up there as one of the best, just because of his technical skills and being an all round nice guy.

Carl Cox has always being someone that I have loved seeing play, hes also a good bloke.

Chris Lake because his sets are some of the most well put together I have heard.

John 00 Fleming - Class f**kin DJ.. so mellow and is a true DJ for scene and not the commercialism

Astral Projection - What can be said.. True Pioneers of Trance.. even though they have somewhat faded away.. They still helped build a large part of the scene back in the day..

Seconded.

Zabiela, for reasons already mentioned.

Richie Hawtin. Like Zabiela, he pushes technical boundaries. Mad props.

Tiesto, Armin & Sean Tyas simply because when they are DJing you can see how much they love doing it from jumping all over the place, tis what DJing is all about in my books.

James Zabiela... for being what he is.
Richie Hawtin... for being one of the most interesting DJs to see live, and for being one who was never afraid to push the envelope.
Frank Lorber... for playing that track just when you need to hear it, and of course, mixing it in excellently.
Lee Burridge... for being a fucking monstrous party DJ.
Sasha... even though my interests have drifted from his style, for that fucking silky mixing he had in the days of vinyl/CDs only.
Jeff Milligan... for... well this.
Kevin Yost... for being able to destroy your ears with just a plain old couple of decks and some deep house records.
Pascal F.E.O.S.... for great mixing, great set programming, and an all around great outlook on DJing.

Seeing as how in comparison to alot of you, I'm still VERY new to the scene. The only person that comes to mind as inspirational or favorite is by far Tiesto. Through youtube.com and the DVD of his I baught (Magik) Just the energy he carries and the flow of his music drive me to want to do more with my DJ carrier. Even more unfortunate I haven't even been to a full on techno/trance venue as I am stuck in a wretched back-water town in northern British Columbia. It's because of him that I will hopefully be moving to a bigger city come summer though and grabbing a job at a much bigger club than where i work now. With that will come greater opportunities hopefully.

Kerri Chandler - 'Nuff fucking said he's the juggernaut bitch.

Really I like anyone who doesn't play the stupid funky oompa loompa house music.

Jonas Steur & Galen Behr for track selection, great flow & silky smooth perfect transitions every single time. I have sets of theirs I find myself going back to time & time again & if I could ever get anywhere near these guys in terms of skill I'll be a happy happy bunny

Got to say Giusseppe Ottaviani too for the energy in his sets plus again brilliant transitions every time. He does have a tendency to whore his own work - though thats no bad thing when you make the tracks he does
