Yes women used this during pregnancy to help alleviate pains and make childbirth easier...by learning to control certain muscles in your body.

wasting my money? have you ever seen me dance? just because i found something to be interesting doesn't mean i dance likt that. I don't see you moving your body in the ways she does and expressing an instrument through movements in her body like she does.
There's different types of bellydancing, and this is just one of the many. This dance has evolved over thousands of years so noone has the right to say "what is bellydancing".
