I don't know why I'm even responding to you as you're clearly a douchebag but anyway here goes:
1. do you actually think "getting the day off" is what this thread is about? If so you're even dumber than you sound. It's about taking a day away from work to HONOR those who fought for more than ONE MINUTE... not so we can get drunk and watch Price is Right.
1. you wear a poppy... woopdie fucking doo- welcome to society.
2. you sit in silence at 11am for a couple of minutes... again, woopdie fucking doo Johnny Hero. You sir are a fucking patriot.
I guess the above entitles you to call someone who actually serves in our forces and feels that a day of remembrance should exist to forget the drudgery of everyday life for one day and honor those who gave their lives for our freedom a "lazy fok." I don't know "broski" but that seems a little "wiggity wack" for me...
I'm not a commie, I'm actually a staunchly right-wing thank-you. And for the record I don't even agree with Eviltree... I'm critisizing you for jumping down his throat for stating an honest opinion. So go to the dictionary and look up the word "contradict" then we'll talk Forrest.
However it's useless to argue with a peron like you... you're too ignorant to admit that you were wrong to judge Eviltree- that's what makes you ignorant.
So be sure to take your ribbon for "winning" this arguement to your family Little Billy and maybe you'll get a lollipop for being sooooo smart!!! |
Ohhhh buddy you're an answer to my prayers.
Getting a day off vs Having a day off to Honor those who faught? Dude COME ON, you're the contradiction KING.
And wow, you realize how few Canadians are in the Armed forces? If you want to give them the day off then go ahead, they deserve it, but chances are they already have the day off because they are employed by the Canadian Government.
How was I judging EvilTree? I wasnt thats how! But let me judge you, in my opinion as a supreme court judge I think you're douche-pouch on welfare that prolly wouldnt even really care if you got the day off or not since you just sit at home all day smoking cigarettes you bought on the Indian reserve with the money my income taxes went to.
WE DO NOT NEED A DAY OFF WORK OR SCHOOL TO REMEMBER OUR VETERANS, they faught so that we could work freely, and be educated freely, they didnt fight so that we could sit around and remember them all day long, if anything we should remind ourselves of their sacrifices daily! Instead of doing the typical Canadian lazy thing of taking only one day out of the year to remember a war that cost us so many lives, and shaped our country into the paradise that it is today.
Another thing, the drudgery of daily life? HA! That's what you want the day off for? Is to contemplate your existance? The one our veterans gave you? DRUDGERY OF DAILY LIFE??? Our daily lives are by most standards peaceful, fufilling and ultimately disaster/sorrow free, of course there are exceptions but we have everything we need in this country to become the happiest individuals in the world, thats what's what remembering our soldiers is all about, not fucking taking days off work/school, how redundant.
Let me pause for a minute and read the other nonsense you wrote...
Ahh yes you told me to look in my dictionary for contradict, then you called me Forrest.
con·tra·dict /ˌkɒntrəˈdɪkt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[kon-truh-dikt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–verb (used with object)
1. to assert the contrary or opposite of; deny directly and categorically.
2. to speak contrary to the assertions of: to contradict oneself.
3. (of an action or event) to imply a denial of: His way of life contradicts his stated principles.
4. Obsolete. to speak or declare against; oppose.

I believe the word you were looking for there was "arrogant", seeing as how I clearly do understand where EvilTree is coming from, I simply disagree with him and as we dont currently live in a Police State (thanks to our soldiers whom I do remember) I am allowed to voice my (albeit) demeaning opinion of EvilTree's petition.
And come on man, it isnt useless to argue with me, you love doing it cause you think you're smarter than me.
I win again.

Congrats, you can look up a word in the dictionary and post it. Now learn how to use it in proper connotation.
Kid, you're completely missing the point. Go back and read my posts. I'm calling you an idiot for jumping down a member of our armed forces' throat and judging his character. He wants to make Remembrance Day a national holiday so we can stop the unconsequential shit that we worry ourselves with every day, and honor them for a day not one minute. It's not a holiday for soldiers you twit. I don't even agree with him. I'm not defending is point, I'm calling you a moron for being so judgemental so your entire argument is a mute point.
And no I don't like arguing with you because it's futile. You're clearly a smart assed punk kid who shoots his mouth off and doesn't know the first thing about me and the $30,000 of taxes I pay out of my salary to educate your little smart ass mouth.
One you you might wake up and realize that you were a smart assed kid when you were 19 who had an opinion on everything because you read the internet but didn't really know shit. Maybe then we can sit down together and talk like adults. But until you grow some hair on your chest, get rid of the zits on your face and get some real life experience before you judge those you don't know and their opinions, enjoy puberty.

Dude I still haven't missed the point.
I get what EvilTree was saying, I disagree, I jumped down his throat!
Bing bang boom, and if you had taken the time to realize that then you'd also have realized that what I'm saying in regards to it being a national holiday is 100% valid.
Our entire lives have been granted because of the actions of our soldiers/veteran soldiers who faught in wars long past, therefore I dont think that any one day of the year should represent their sacrifice! Perhaps there should be a moment of silence each day so that we are reminded of the sacrifice they made for us more regularly, vs one day of the year.
And I think I have a right to jump down his throat for posting this dumbass petition here, the petition is stupid, I dont care if he's in our armed forces or not, its bull and I'm calling it so, the fact is he probably agrees with me otherwise he would be defending himself and his reasoning instead of you defending his right to post the petition, and ontop of it all busting my balls for busting his.
I have hair on my chest, I read books (not just the internet) and I too pay taxes to fund your insulting posting habits! And the truth is, I have no zits! OMG!
You also claim to pay $30,000 in taxes ROFL, ya ok buddy, they dont charge that much to Welfare recipients in Toronto which I assume is where you live unless "T-Dizzle" is an abreviation for something else.
But in the unlikely case that you do pay that much in taxes, thanks for paying for my education which has inevitably made me smarter than you.
Also, buddy, its a message board on the INTERNET, expect MANY opinionated posts from MANY different people. I just so happen to be one of those people, the fact that you're crying over this means you should probably get an under-the-table job ontop of your welfare check to occupy your time, it also means I have too much time on my hands and that I should get a less slack job.

Don't assume. I don't visit this forum often, hence I missed out on your little... outbursts.
I don't mind that you disagree with me. I do think that you posting in such manner is quite silly on your part.
You bring up some valid points, and I agree on some of them, to a degree. But, you're quite annoying.
As for assuming that Dennis is some sort of welfare recipient... Well, more assuming.
Yeah, it's just internet. This forum is not c0r where jumping on each other is fashionable.
But learn some etiquette.
Anyways, back to topic on hand.
