HIGHLY doubt that, especially for the US market. |
I don't. Apple would want to stay free from any other companies and go on their own route, but would still be able to let you use it with your own service so it actually works as a phone

two batteries, one charger? awesome
that solves the problem my treo has of running low on batteries.
GSM/CDMA compatible. Like jay-z says, "difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week, I do this in my sleep". Only apple, who has such a corner on the portable mp3 player market, would be able to pull this off.

I think I'll buy an actual cellphone. Seriously, whatever I can get free with the plan does me just fine. I have zero need for internet, e-mail, video, radio, mp3, videos, and photos. When I buy a phone I want something that's going to make and receive calls and that won't break.
I've had my phone for a year and a half now. It's a Sanyo that came free with the plan. It comes with a camera, but I rarely use it. I've dropped it on both hard floors and in water, and it's still as sturdy as the day I bought it. Crystal clear calls, and the only time a conversation has ever been dropped is when the other person has drove through a tunnel or something along those lines.
I don't want a portable entertainment center, because they're pointless. I leave my house for a reason, and those various reasons have nothing to do with watching TV, checking my e-mail, or listening to music (unless I'm in a car, a friends house or at a club). When I'm away from the house I want to experience what I can't experience at home. I want a fucking phone.
/end "I hate how media-focused society is becoming" rant
