arent the numbers not real? like the amount of deaths during the holocaust was blown out of proportion? im just asking, i believe it happened but im not sure whether its exactly as history says it, i wonder what the elementary school books that are including the recent us war in iraq are gonna teach the us children.

This shouldn't even be a question in our minds. My whole senior year of high school, my Genocide Studies class was pushing for more Holocaust awareness. This was around the same time that author denied the holocaust and got something like 15 years in an italian prison. BEfore that, I really didn't think people denied the holocaust. Now that I know that, it really pisses me off.

I've read William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" and if I remember correctly, I think he put the number roughly to 6,00,000 in Germany alone. Not sure though.
