My MkIII's are nice and happy with the CD-Text when burnt as proper Audio CD's rather than MP3 Cd's.
Just be sure to check that the CD text did in fact go on there. I've got problems with my copy of Nero on PC and Itunes 7 on my Mac - where they quite happily tell me that they're burning the CD text, but they're lying to me...
I've got a handy script though that sends my iTunes playlists to Toast as aiff files with CD text for the burn - so it's all good in the end.
(that said though, the best script I've got is one that swaps the Album and Genre data - so iTunes will burn into folders arranged in Genre instead of album...)
Off-topic there I guess - but - you'll be fine with Audio CD's - just make sure what you use definitely DOES put CD-Text on to the CD, and you'll be happy as a larry.
