Just because you get pissy over sigs that are out of bounds does not qualify you for judgment.
Those were put into effect ages ago when internet bandwidth was much less. IMO setting should be changed and more should be allowed.
Your turn to counter.

Has little to do with bandwidth, and much to do with people such as the original poster in this thread wanting to promote his homosexual agenda using unnecessary amounts of pixels. Some of us like to actually read the words on a semi-organized platform.

my judgement has nothing to do with the fact that there are restrictions. Maybe Swamper will change them someday , but i'm sure the number of users has something to do with it. I don't know about others, but i enjoy it if the sig is not bigger then the post, which rarely happens in this forum anyway

There is a wonderful feature to not display sigs.
Here is your diploma for failing FAQ's.

There is also a feature of not having to read the forums at all.
All things within reason.... removing all size restrictions would make people have page-long signatures, ruining it for the rest of the people who just want to put a link to their latest mix in their sig. I've seen it happen. It's dumb.
Edit- Was unaware that I could receive a diploma for failing something. Did you get your actual diploma?

Where did I say they should be removed? Changed and more allowed does not mean no restrictions. Where are your analytical skills?
And yes, I have a diploma from my high school, one from college, and in the near future one for a graduate degree.

What would you consider to be an acceptable size for an avatar or signature? What is the necessity for increasing these restrictions?
They just seem plenty forgiving to me.
Edit:

Point being, they are unnecessary as-is, and already take up plenty of room... to what point does it leave the realm of either "fun" or "helpful" and just become bothersome?
