hehe this was my first real programming job and my first big rollout I deleted all of the dates for this process. took us 8 hours to get them all back. was up till 3am that night.

its for Citigroup and their server procurement and its a 34 million dollar + project >.<

needless to say as soon as it was over I drank until I passed out.

once we messed up the sql server, it took us over 10 hours to get all the data back, i spent the whole night aat work and left the next day at 9am

If I was in your shoes I'd opt for the double pay chief.

I hate companies who make people work antisocial hours, taking the piss out of the average worker it happens all the time at my work.

The people who make the decisions and call the shots usually get the easy life, yet when the company is going down the pan due to a decision they've made you can guarantee their the first to jump ship.

i hate messing up the DB. and crashing it. Ive done that a few times too. Thats why you should keep track of what other programmers are doing and say that it broke right around the time the other programmer put his code in.

Is your boss junior/middle management? Because that's what I am at my company and means nothing you get to deal with all the shit the senior managers hate to touch.

But it's the big fish Directors/executives who fuck things up and make the decisions. But you do get the occasional director who's a cool boss.

my immediate superior is the IT Director, coolest boss evar, and she has such a nice ass i want to tap so much
