send the gift. you have up until a year to send a gift. a couple has up to a year to send their thank yous.

i got a guest at my wedding who didnt send a gift. i wasnt that mad about the gift (i knew money was tight for him), i was more mad that he didnt even give a card. I went to their wedding and gave a card and a gift. i think he was more pissed off that my mom addressed the invitation to his name and his ex girlfriends name (not his wife's name). she wasnt very happy.

sounds like it's more of a novelty item than anything else ( the type of wine you would never drink if you were a hardcore fan and try to keep intact till your dying days ( just like keeping toys in their packages ) ).

I say drink it and send him the bottle refilled with another wine

buying wedding gifts can be a difficult thing to purchase! I usually just give money to help out with the wedding cost which can be a lil' extremly priced.

p.s. every TA wedding should have an open bar
