I disagree, I think you should take his impersonation for what it is: a comic exaggeration stereotyping people from Khakistan (or more like people from the old Soviet Republic), much like the guys from MAD TV or In Living Colour do/did for blacks, whites and asians...if anything Borat exposes the racism that is prevalent across America. Sacha Baron Cohen can get away with saying things about Jews because he's Jewish, much like blacks can call each other "nigga/er". That's just the way it is. Instead of finding it offensive or questioning his sentiments, appreciate it for what it does: exposes the racist sentiments prevalent in todays society. Despite mass efforts to be politically correct (i.e. Happy Holidays vs. Merry Christmas) many people harbor animosity internally that occasionally becomes unleased (i.e. Kramer, Mel) and the character of Borat facilitates an outlet for these feelings.
