Nothing wrong with talking about an old comp...

PVD hasnt put many mixes out, so if someone wants to bring this up, I see no reason to gripe about it.

Ironically I just put this on my speakers a few hours ago, and I thought the 1st cd was great in the 1st half, and definitley a little lacking in the second half.

It's the 2nd disc that KILLS ME! Especially with the awful mixing and placement of Marco V- More Than A Life Away

All in all though, I'm curious as to what people on this forum actually listen to trance wise thats 'good'

I dont wanna start a new thread gabbering about trance being shitty, but jesus there really hasnt been that much good shit to dig through in the genre especially this year, and I thought PVD did a pretty decent job of pulling out some of the bigger songs of that year (2005 or whenever)
soo yeah

+1 definately. The first one was far better engineered.

PvD didn't used to do mix CDs, prefering to always mix live. He sort of broke the mould with TPOD1, apparently it took him many many months just to engineer those tracks.

TPOD2 clearly didn't have as much effort put into it.

Some releases are good.

So basically you're saying; Trance from the early 90's sucks.

its all a matter of opinion. i prefer trance and electronica from the late to early 90s and 80s.

onto politics of dancing 2. This was a huge letdown from the original imo
