I'm really really regretting not going to Summerdayze already
All I hear is how big it is and how many people will be there!
25,000 people????
I've never been to an event that big in my life. And only 2 weeks til I leave, it looks like it' snot gonna happen while I'm in Aus.
Anyone wanna trade their SD ticket for my SP ticket
Ah well, Sunshine people should be fun anyway... i guess.
lol

just got back from sday just now it was a massive crowd, espially the main stage all day a hugh line to get in, and i'm like what a joke, it was a average summadayz for me, i saw Judge Jules, Papa smurf, little bit of basment Jaxx, a little of Hybrid some a few videos aswell, but yes the croud was massive, so many hot chicks and hot top Yummy , when i got there at 12.30ish the line was up to the car park, thank god i had a vip card, otherwise i would've had to wait 2 -3 hrs.

Awesome weather, so glad the rain held off!! What can i say? Everything you'd expect from a summadayze as far as the crowd goes. Hybrid, Trentemoller n Mylo were my picks of the day - missed out on most of what went on at the mainstage although Bob Siclar closing was really, really shit. Love Generation near the end is no longer "a moment" is meh...predictable. James Brown was a nice finish though

Track of the day for me was Mylo dropping Antena - Camino Del Sol (Joakim Mix). Absolutely lost my shit with this one hahahahah. Hybrid - Just For Today was wicked as well. Such a fucking tight group - and hearing those breaks on a beefy system makes me wet hahahh.

Fucking Fantastic Day!!!

Stand Out sets i saw were:

Dirty South - Okay, i was unsure what to expect seen as the electro/house crap was at the edge with me, but great set!! awesome buildups and had the crowd going well, i was having a good boogie to the faithless remix of insomnia.

Trentmoller - WICKED WICKED WICKED WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so deep and groovy, minimal and tighter than ya mum! cant wait to see more like these two over the year!

Hybrid (LIVE) - Hybrid are my all time favoites and had thought they were going down an electro house path with thier sets (some that i had listened to anyway) prior to seeing them live. FUCK ME STUPID me and the guys i was with (along with the rocking dance floor) were farking blown away by these guys!

TOCADISCO - This i thought was going to be cheesy and i had decided that after hybrid i would leave, as soon as this guy jumped on and got into it i was hooked, his set was impecable and so so so so so captivating, i had not rocked harder all day than the duration of his set, flawless mixing, charisma behind the decks, beautiful music! -- if this is the sound of 07 then im pretty excited about it all. <-- SET OF THE DAY for me!

Trance Stage had ferals all over it in my opinion. couldnt feel comfortable there for long periods of time, so i was in and out of there throughout the day. Papa was pretty banging, tight tech-trance! the muzzers were loving it lol

All in all, had the best NYD in a long while!

The wickedest day EVER!!

I had an awesome time!!! One of the best sets for me was Martin Solveig, absolutely pumping and great persona behind the decks.

Judge Jules .. lol... he was funny, I have no idea what he was trying to do and I don't think he did either

Saw a bit of Trentemoller and Mylo both really good. I must agree with Ben, I also thought Dirty South was great

Steve's was rocking it as per usual, crowd was loving it Really enjoyed Scott Bonds set.. one of the only Dj's that still plays proper trance without that electro element, funny guy too

It was an excellent day.. the layout was better this year, heaps more room to move, because the fences were extended.

Yeah.. saw lots of nice sunnies, as well .. Sunniedayze!

Great way to kick off 2007

heard the end of darren emerson i think he said on nova when we were driving home from my auntie's place, he was playing some mad tunes. then tv rock came on and they were shit hehe, mixing was average, didnt like the tunes they were playing, except the faithless remix of hold that sucker down which was cool.

I had a wicked day hanging out with mates. To be honest I didn't really listen carefully to to many tunes or sets. Spent the day smashed on one hill or another just talkin shee-art with peeps. Judge Jules was a funny bastard, played some nice stuff and Papa Smurf just keeps sounding the same imo, still liked it but some variation wouldn't hurt. Spent some the day at Trancedayze or Muzzadayze (know what you mean about not being comfortable there Ben) and the rest wasted on the top the hill mainstage. Sinclar was fuken crap, he sent me home!!

All up tho, really enjoyed myself ..
