ok i just started listening, and i just want to say...i've noticed that you like to start your mixes with "bleepy synth" type tracks, lol.

Alrighty, just got done listening. Unfortunately I had to stop it several times due to work-related duties, but I got through the whole thing.

It started out not much grabbing my attention. I went into it thinking "this set isn't really going to be my style", but it quickly picked up. A good majority of the set had a "Commodore 64 SID-chip" vibe to it, so I really dug that. I liked the gritty saw basslines. I also liked how "dirty and chunky" the set got towards the end.

The ending track was perfect IMO. I liked the use of vocals in the song that's playing at 15:00. And whichever track is playing during 52:00 is incredible.

Did you notice there's a good minute or two of silence at the end of the set? Or did I miss something by skipping through it?

Great job building energy throughout the set, I really enjoyed it. Excellent mixing. Nice vibe. Great job! I'll be holding on to this one.

Thanks a lot, yeah there's a minute or something of slience at the end, I forgot to chop it out and next thing you know the mix was uploaded on my server and I said fuck it (I'm on a super slow connection).

The one at 52 is "The Subs - Arpolis". The subs fucking ROCK! Check them out on myspace http://www.myspace.com/thesubstrax let em know I sent you

15 is the Flekk Remix of the unspellable gabriel ananada tune, another mooonster

The last one is an all time favorite of mine I've had on vinyl for ages and never found a mix to use it in... very happy it worked well

Cheers mate!

whoa! completely different style from you than I would have suspected... like usual. it almost even approaches left field in its techy-ness, sorta idm'ish. unfortunately, it's just not my bag. i did however love the transition from Terry Lee into track 4, that repeated vocal bit was sharp! some elements of #4 made me think of VNV Nation, very melancholy. That was the only track that really jumped out at me, as well as old Keoki of course. Pleasant surprise!

I think I take back the comment I made in my Terry Lee, about how it's not the artists job to evolve sounds for the listeners, but rather ours to genre hop when desired. You're proving me wrong. Damn chameleons

Wow, you got in quick.. This was definately a bit more "mainstream" at least in my weirdo eyes

Thanks for the listen, shame you didn't enjoy it more, as thats always one of my main goals- share new/different sounds, give people something to like, etc.

As for the artist vs the listener, I am both so my evolution as a listener is ocurring at the same time as my evolution as an artist, and it's personal of course, each person is on their own wavelength, and sometimes people hit the same frequencies :0

Alwatys nice to hear something constructive and critical about something i've done. Pushes me harder.

Cheers stella
