i miss that re:locate/octagen..

i have to agree with you on this one, i prefer his older work too.

The best comparison between then and now is if you compare the album version of Waterfall with the Original.

Somehow the Album Version, which has been reworked for the album, lacks all the energy

yes! i completely agree with this... despite the new version being cleaner & having most of the same instruments it just doesn't have any drive to it
