It was a big game but I understand where you are coming from. What bothers me is that people forget that wasn't the gold medal game and that the Soviets helped the Americans during the gold medal game.

Are you kidding me ?!? If Canada was so strong why didn't they win a medal and more importantly if Sweden was so weak why did they win the gold??? Having a good team on paper doesn't necessarily mean much. Russia was good but not good enough.
