I agree with TTA, old school hip-hop (Grandmaster Flash, Sugarhill Gang, Run DMC, NWA, Afrika Bambatta) and hip-hop made with heart (a lot of the underground stuff, Nas and Jay-z's battle records, some of Missy Elliot's stuff if innovative) is great. But this new bling-bling garbage is just straight up booty

I hate that music with a passion.. Personal opinion. It does not do it for me. Bunch of apes flying up and down the stage and you call that signing and rapping... ITS FUCKEN LOST, that's what it is! talk about repetitive.. ahh! and people say "techno is repetitive" lol obviously they dont listen to their music


the 'riff' or background doesnt change, and they repeat the vocals 3-5 times!

Mainstream hiphop has gone to hell. But so has some mainstream techno.

Underground techno is the best, but all people see is the mainstream. That is why alot of people just say trance sucks. Cus they think it's the same as everything else.

If ya'll would listen to UNDERGROUND hiphop (Copywrite, Chino XL, Slug, Eyedea, etc...) then you would know that there are still innovators in the genre. Not everyone is a Nelly (the devil incarnate) or Snoop Dogg (smoked too much to rap). There are alot of very talented people out there that are worth looking into.

Sorry for the rant, guys, but I've been an avid underground hiphop head for years before I got into trance music. I just love all music, and hate to see people trash other's work because it's not to their personal taste.

I don't like it but i don't mind ... as long as nobody's forced to listen to somethin he dislikes
