I'm amused at how my original defense of free speech was in defense of something that was anti-muslim as opposed to this thread. Yet the arguments can be closely linked. Nothing, however, brings me out of the wood works like free speech issues.

Naturally, I consider the conviction of Javed to be as much of an affront to free speech as I would consider a criminally punitive response to the cartoons that Javed is campaigning against.

Would if I were asked, but personally I don't think I'm here enough to really be a good mod unless I were pmed with issues (that popup and email to my account reminds me to visit TA ). Plus I like talking politics, but I don't like playing politics ... playing politics seems to be the number one issue with mods from what I see in the COR.
