like the percussion, nice atmosphere for the intro.
bassline isn't exactly my taste, too much reso, but works ok with the rest of the track.
darkish vocals and overall feel, but chord progression sound a bit off sometimes.
also like the pads.
mixwise seems a bit muddy imo.

overall i kinda like this production, congrats both.

hope to hear more from you.

Hi Akia, Hi Speactra !

I Enjoy this start with the beats and the nice backsynth.

Akias Vocals are pretty nice and good mixed, i realy like the bassline progression here. I would maybe add a bit more mid low to the bassline, so it sounds more bumping, and takin out a bit of reso. The swedish spoken words are realy cool, has a great feel, with the delay and the dark atmosphere together, good work . The melodic synths have good melodic progressions im enjoying them aswell .

Overall pretty nice track, well produced (needs some mastering though, but dont use to much things, you know, less is sometimes more), and realy nice vocals from akia .

All the best,

Greetz,

Alex

Ok, been a long time since I've written REALLY constructive feedback. I feel like it now however So I'm gonna poor out all I can..

First thing that comes to mind is the kickdrum. IMO it's a bit too boomy. It could be more massive and powerful. The intro is nice though. Percs are added as the track plays, and those delaying, filtered piano-stabbs in the background are creating a chill atmosphere. Ok, here's the bassline. Nothing special. Works fine. Vocals comes in after 1.27min. Perfect for them to appear here, cuz by now the DJ has finished mixing the track in. Hmm.. I don't know what to say about the vocals.. Seems like they don't fit the rest of the harmony in the track. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to them. The track now comes into a break (02.30min) and the pads in the background is beautiful in my ears. A shy melody is working its way into the track, I recon. It's chill and subtle. The takeoff comes too early, imo. You should have built the tension more before letting it all loose. The track is now in a period which sounds like a pause (03.25min). Vocals then comes back to lift the track further on. I actually quite like vocals here. More delay should have been used on them however. They are soooo melancholic, and it would be pseudo-cool to add more delay to them. Panning delay 6.14min and a new break takes place. It sound very similar to the first one.. Ok, some new percs added. Again, the rise and the takeoff is too dull. It makes the listener get what he wants - too early. You have to tease him and make him loooong for a takeoff - but at the same time don't bore him with repeating elements. After 8mins the track builds itself down. Nothing much to say.

Overall a very sad and emotive track. The thought is very good. If you want to work more on it, here are some suggestions:
- Change the bassline and the bass-sound. It's just too...eh..subtractor
- Work more on the vocals. Add delay at places. Trick with them.
- Add more variation to the breaks. As it is now, it's kinda boring.
- Kickdrum, as I mentioned, doesn't fit tracks like these...IMO that is.
- Maybe add more melodies? Or maybe not... The track had a atmosphere which carried it forward. Melodies maybe aren't that important.

I enjoyed listening to it! Good luck with it and all forthcoming productions! Producing-skills are top notch, and you can create amazing tracks if you just set your mind to it.

BTW - question for Akia:
What kind of equipment do you have? (soundcard, mic, preamp, mixer, etc) I presume that the recording of the vocals was done at your place, and not in Turkey? Hehe. Vocals sounded clean and crisp.

Thank you all very much! Great reviews!
I'll take your advices to me Really intresting to read your posts!

As the track is not mastered at all now, just the clean output, I'll try to add some mastering myself.
Thank you so much for the offer booster, I'll let you try also, will be fun to hear how your mastering sounds. I bet it will sound better than mine, cause I suck at mastering
But I'll add some more echo and stuff to Akias song before that. Haven't put so much effort in the echoes yet.

I've discovered a bug from ableton too, the second verse sounds like it's badly timestretched, even though it isnt timestretched at all.. have to figure out a way to fix that

Thanks again

It's a bit too generic for me, don't know about the singing either.

It kind of gives me a mixed feeling of pretty good and bad, I don't know how to explain it really, It's probably because I don't like vocal stuff.

The breakdown is cool, though the melody reminds me of DT8 Project "Hold Me Til The End"
