As Arbiter said, it's an above average troll job, but only because he seems to have convinced everyone on that board of his genuineness. It's really no surprise people there would believe that though - on an internet forum dedicated to the discussion of mechanical masturbation, most of the people there can probably very much relate to his tale of woe as they themselves are/have been in similar circumstances.
