I'm going to try to make it to G&D. I'm taking a bunch of interns from work out. Will probably get a table.

Is it better to get a table? I've never been to the venue before... usually head up the other direction (LA) Thanks!

To be honest, I've only been there once since the place was redone. Personally, I find that tables/bottle service can be a bit constraining--it's not as easy to flit around. But it'll be a nice way to say "thanks" to some college kids that have done some work for me.

You can go to http://www.belosandiego.com/ and they show the different tables they have available but it doesn't give you much of a sense of which "room" you're in.
