I always thought it was kind of a cool name... sorta like in the 40s, when they called a material and its factory for working with that material by the naming convention... for example: Sheldon's Iron Works. I always thought this was a play on that... FootWorks, meaning, the material is your feet, and the club is the factor you go to make them into something special... a play on dancing. Just my two cents.

the issue here is the fact that the club is called Footwork, not Footworks.

The only difference being Footwork is the name of the venue, where Sheldon is the name of the person who started/owns the company.
