WAldorf, Access virus 2.0, Arturia origin (hell yes, this and waldorf are the most exciting) Roland v synth GT (not that much different to the last by the look of it..) Some good stuff there, the new waldorf stuff looks good, they were kind of the 90s classic I think. Arturia origins really got me excited tho, It runs as a VST!!! yay.

If origin is around the same price as a virus then it'll be a decent deal, it'll take some load of the CPU which would be really great, I'm a big fan of the whole hardware integrating as plugins thing. Only question is, how much multitimbrality????

I can't remember what the virus has but that makes the origin not bad right? I mean, you can have your bass, couple of pads and a lead with that, thats bare bones then you can flesh it out a little more with VSTs. I really wish clavia would do this with the nord lead, then I would be a happy man. And realistically, I can't imagine its that hard to write a VST interface for any hardware with a USB 2 port, half of them have editor software anyway, so its just a matter of making that editor into a vst and then writing some stuff to stream the audio and midi in and out...

I don't think they'll end up making the price higher than the virus I think it'll be about the same once it comes out, they always have the price up really high on the web, that way people go to audiomidi or whatever, think they're getting a really good deal and grab it straight off.
